i can see through smoke =s

    Okay so for some reason at a certain distance away from a smoke grenade cloud i can 'sort of' see through it, as in make out outlines of people.

    Not really sure about how to fix it, and i need to, because i keep on getting in these difficult situations where I think do i get an unfair kill on this guy and maybe get banned for hacking or do i just pretend i dont know hes about to come and shoot my face off?

    any ideas about why this is? will get a screeny next time it happens

    screenshot what you mean.

    I've recently had shadow bugs where I can tell if someone is behind a door or something, not when they're really close, just standing near to it which kinda feels like cheating :/

    well i have ATI and i never get that. i think its cause his graphics are on low and if you have a nvidia graphics card the smoke doesn't show up fully on some cards

    It's because you have ambient occlution turned on.

    Why give yourself disadvantage? If there is some graphics settings that gives you visibility through smoke, thanks to Nvidia for providing it and thanks to Valve for not fixing it...

    I think if zBlock allows you on war servers, just carry using it the way it is... And pop that head as soon as you see it through that smoke.

    My advice to you would be get another steam id to rid of that red VAC seal tbh... That way nobody will accuse of cheating even though your playing legit.

    yea it's a good advantage man... but it's definitely because of the ambient occlusion.

    If you play any mixes or with an anticheat you will get banned for that, it is classed as cheating.

    Which anticheat you speak of Rob? zBlock and VAC are the only common ones for CSS.

    This isn't bannable lol... It's not a cheat. VAC and zBlock doesn't ban/kick for graphic card settings. Would like to know what to mixes and anti cheats that ban for you for using the settings your graphic card comes with

    yeah definately need to get a new account soon, especially since im starting to play league stuff like on cssmixes.com. youre kind of right about why shouldnt it be used if valve havent fixed it yet, but im guessing lots of people dont know about it and i rather not be banned from servers for hacking, it happens enough already coz im so PROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
