Hot potato lr is broken

If a player is running/jumping their momentum is "conserved" when in hot potato last request. this momentum messes up throws by changing direction and speed of the throw. A T can cheese LR by waiting when some ct starts running/jumping, then start the HP LR. This is basically cheating in LR as the CT can't win in this situation

This is not new, but yeah I have tested this myself just now, it's indeed not allowed. The gun goes somehow through the opponent and will bug the LR, this will be seen as cheating in LR and glitching the server so please do not use this method.

Unrelated to the lr issue, but can I ask about your character skin?

Is this even allowed having a wire frame skin?

 

I swear, every time I make a post people ask me about the skins I use, lol.
The wireframe hands is just an edited .vmt file for the hands model. (this isn't my idea btw and no it only works with viewmodels)

That's it. I don't see how this gives me any advantage besides being able to see through my hands.

 

v_hands.vmt isnt blocked on the server. Also what is the difference, it's just a viewmodel. No advantage or gameplay purpuse, just cosmetic.

If this is concidered an unfair advantage, I can return it to normal and just use an animated opaque texture.

sv_pure 2 doesn't allow any skins, sv_pure 1 allows viewmodel skins and some sfx changes.

 

I could simply toggle between cl_righthand "1" and cl_righthand "0" and have the same effect.
