Bans?

Hey, I used to play CSS alot a long time ago and I recently picked it back up again, I remember having lots of fun on this specific jailbreak server, but when I joined I found that I had a ban from using ct's on my steam ID, which is weird because I remeber a specific incident but not the exact details, I just remeber that I made a small mistake which is rare because of how familiar I like to be with the rules. I was told by somebody that my only chance at getting unbanned from using ct was to start a thread here. Can anyone help me with this?
