Hello, Can we pretty please increase the ping limit of all the servers so that I can play too? I got kicked in Hunger Games today: Disconnect: Your ping is too high. (336) Max: (300). Thank you!
Can't do anything about it unfortunately i spoke spammed Nomy about it but he explaind to me why he can't do it and it was unfair for other tbh .
Do you really think that will work? I tried everything buying downloading programs literally everything nothing could reduce it even 1
My internet works like this. I get good ping if no one downloads something. If someone downloads something, I get ping up too 200.
That's great that it works for you Jan, but my mate Waleed and I both live in Australia. This is why our pings are higher in game. Maybe this is something that can be re-considered? As the Jailbreak limit is higher? I just want to play the other servers too!
The issue with raising ping is it makes it unfair with players with good connection... If you have a ping of over 300 you are likely to be teleporting slightly on players screens, which gives you a advantage over them in some respect.
This is a UK server so the server I do not think will change location. I have seen other people from Australia connect and play all the time, I think you both should use ethernet connections if you currently do not.
I've increase it by a bit so you wont get kicked. His internet works like this too. There is already an added latency by connecting from a long distance. He is not even joking. *walidwarrrrrrrr*: yeah plus he said it will make my ping good *walidwarrrrrrrr*: if it will really i prefer to buy PC with 12 ram ]HeLL[ Nomy: even if you have 1TB RAM, it will not make your ping lower even by 1 ms *walidwarrrrrrrr*: lol *walidwarrrrrrrr*: then do you think if there is anyway that i can make my ping lower but not changing cuntry even if it will cost a lots of money *walidwarrrrrrrr*: at least to 299 or 298 *walidwarrrrrrrr*: just for the hell servers ]HeLL[ Nomy: look man... if you find a way to pull whole of Australia closer to UK, that will make your ping lower... ]HeLL[ Nomy: maybe it will cost you a lot to do that
There is not much that can make your ping lower. Stopping downloads (as @Jan suggested) only helps, when your bandwith or that of your household is so small that it cant handle dl + CSS. So only things to decrease the running time of signals is either develop a new technology with faster data transmission or get a shorter route. As you can see on this 2017 map, there is no shorter path for the sea cables from australia to asia (where the signal goes via land lines to the UK). https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/89/Submarine_cable_map_umap.png So sadly, your ping wont get better.
