Missing maps help please

Hi I'm getting missing map error for lockdown and canyondam


Where can I find the files to download them and do I need to do anything else?

put these in your C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\download folder

 

If they are already in your download folder, delete or overwrite them

 

you can delete the maps on
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\download (common place to install steam)
and join server and wait for it to download again, if it doesent work you can try searching it online and downloading it, overwrite them

So I'm having this problem. I can't find the maps on gamebanan. And if I find them its not the same.
for example i found: jb_paradise_prison. However I could not find the map that was played: jb_paradise_prison_fix.

I couldn't find jb_castle_v10_h6 either.

This means no new players can enter since the Fast DL is fucked.

 

Right now, fast dl is down. You must go on GameBanana or other safe websites and get the maps. If you only want JB maps, I can give you a rar file with all maps that I have. This will make it so you can connect to the server and play jb.

So if they add new maps noone will be able to download them? Or if someone who has played all maps except 1, that guy will get kicked unless he can fin it on gamebanan. hmm

and one more thing. I seem to have all my maps
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\download\maps

There i can find all the maps however it still says its missing..... Do they have to be on C: or can they be on other harddrive???

 

They have to be placed where your counter strike source file is installed. Usually its C: Driver, but I don't know where you installed it.Follow this picture to get to your local CSS files


P.S. You might not be able to join if you dont have hellclan models and sound installed too. But Staff is aware of the issue and it will be fixed.

 

That worked thanks. For some reason i had two maps folders in "download".

When i went ur direction i found the maps folder empty. So i moved all from the other to this.

edit: Problem is. It takes 8-15 min to even connect to the game...

This is all nice but i dont feel comfortable downloading from unofficial links. Maybe if Hellclan post their link to their map.

However im able to connect to most maps but the new ones.

You must wait then until the Staff fixes fast dl or download the maps separately on GameBanana or something similar to get the "new" maps.

Never seen you on jb tho. Whats your ingame name?
