Hey, I'm not very active on the forums but just posting this thread to seek advise on what I should change with these computer specs? I'm ordering it within a week or so, but I'm not very good with tech to know if some things are compatible or not ( I read about people ordering pc's with some specs being better than what the power supply can handle, etc ) so I just became a bit worried and thought I should post specs here to see if anyone could help me.

The total build comes to around €786.00, the website seems to be (pretty much) the irish version of pcspecialist.co.uk. I want to keep the price how it is unless it's necessary on adding more, does it look fine to order how it is? Thoughts?

I don't know much about AMD but 4.2ghz sounds like it needs more than a 500w PSU

    Would a 600w or a 700w do the job?

I might actually just downgrade the specs, then once I can afford it just buy better hardware after and put it in myself, so it's more affordable for now.

AMD FX6300 4.10 GHz 6 Core with the 500w PSU, which was the original specs on the prebuilt.

500W is fine for that CPU.

That system is expensive for what it's capable of. Are you sure you don't want to build it yourself? It can save you €200+, which you can invest in other stronger components.

I'm too lazy to put the effort into building + learning how to put one together by myself. It would be cheaper yeah, but if I screwed anything up then I'd have to fix it myself and find out what the problem is, but getting it prebuilt I can get a 2 year warranty if anything goes wrong although it's a bit more pricey.

I think you should build it yourself, you follow the right guide and you will be fine, IF something was to go wrong with a component you reverse what you done to put it in, after building it and turning it on you get a good feeling cause you built it and it works, and got more for your money.

You get warranty with all components and if you buy pre build like I did my first build, I had to send the entire computer back, for a BSoD error.

This is just me trying to convince you to build yourself XD

Looks like a cheap china branded PSU that will last about 3 months. Try getting a branded PSU instead... but if you are going to buy prebuilt i guess you have no choice.. they usually add poor PSU on prebuilt PCs to save money on profits.

I would build yourself, you can get a better PC for cheaper that way, as for PSU, I trust in lux that a 500w PSU will do it but you should definitely get a branded one like Nomy said.

Also make sure that you have fans and/or coolers for the cpu/gpu ( usually integrated in the product )

You were about to pay 800 bucks so i would say you should propably get a r9 270 which is a LOT better and you will not even need to get more than 500W PSU. Maybe if you find a small discount you can get a 600W PSU and the R9 280 which will be around the 800 euro budget you were looking for.And YES,dont reply to me saying the psu isnt enough,he can even overclock with 600w and r9 280
