TopHud3.3 [Last Updated 25/03/2015]

Just bumping this the the newest page.


I am still looking it to it, but bare in mind guys I'm not an admin and have no experience with key checker or other server side plug-ins and can only go on what people tell is and isn't working so if you're having issues with anything else do let me know ether in this thread or steam chat.

 

I put the sound folder in when i was demonstrating the new way to install mods and must've forgot to remove it during the upload, I'll upload the new version when I wake up later because it's 4am (dota night every night ) and I still have to update small things like the read me and such.

Version 3.1 fixes compatibility issues with server side plug-ins such as key checker, the only people that will see the effect of this patch are admins so if you don't have admin privileges there no need to upgrade. SCRATCH THAT! everyone currently using tophud, needs to update to have full functionality of server plug-ins as it turns out it wasn't only admin tools having this issue.

Also my devilishly good looks come with some miner downsides such as my recent brain fart moment, when I was updating for the steam pipe update, I forgot to put in the read me file, since then I've deleted all previous versions of this mod and so I've lost that file, if any still has that old file in their download folder could you please up load it to google dox or something, cheers. :rdrunk:

*CHANGE LOG:

Backgrounds have now been exported in 2048x2048 and 2048x1024(widescreen) resolutions, they should no longer appear
distorted. 

The red hud is no longer part of the main install but can still be installed through the opsional installation folder.

The bug with some of the main menu quick commands has been fixed they should now all function correctly.

Add stop recording button to GUI, press this while recording to stop recording (Simple right), should make demoing 
easier and files size shouldn't be as high since you'll be recording what you need and not entrie games.

Server list has been updated with new IP's some servers were also removed since they have since closed. 

The new IP's are as follows. 

Pub Server IP: 178.32.60.170:27015
Deathmatch Server IP: 178.32.60.170:27031
Football Server IP: 178.32.60.170:27033
War Server IP: 178.32.60.170:27016

The servers dropped were Knife, Hide'n'Seek and ZombieEscape.

V3.0 switched to the new steampipe architecture installation is now easyier.

*INSTALLATION: Installaion is now super easy just grab the the Tophud3.0 folder and place it

32bit C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom 
64bit C:\Program Files \Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom 

and you're done. 

If you don't know the difference you're most likely a 32 bit user.

It basically just has an updated change log and gives credit to Nomy for the fix.

 

So everyone needs to patch then not just admins?

 

Well I updated my previous update post with the new information, I'd imagine most will update through since css mods are just a single drag 'n drop now it isn't so obnoxious to install anymore.

Keychecker is not unreliable it sometimes bugs but it makes it soooo much easier for an admin to decide whether it is scipts or not, as it gives a visual representation of what kind of script is running if any. I find it much easier to catch people and all my reports and bans have been positive with scripts, maybe not hyper scrolls but I got a small understanding of them. I hope keychecker will be kept as I can use it to my advantage and I am very reliable when using it and catching people. As Nomy said people that don't know how to use it should just stay away from the command, I suggest for people just report and record a demo if you are not sure how to use it.

On the other hand, Topbadge, great guy thanks for fixing the HUD, i loved using it, thanks for everything mate see you on JB soon!

The change just take the files in the folder and drop them in here.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\custom\TopHud3.1\materials\console

then click copy and replace if you have to. Nice and easy.
