I heard from many people that bhopping is different if you cap fps like fps_max 54 compared to fps_max 300. Doesn't anyone know if this is true and it has some affect on the way you bhop?
I feell laggy when i cap my fps under 300.. And to bhop, u need extra smoothness. I prefer fps_max 300+ for bhop.
How can you feel laggy if your fps are lower than 300? I don't feel any difference once they're higher than 100...
Maybe im used to high fps. Theres a big difference when i turn my mouse in fps_max 100 and fps_max 300.. I feel im viewing less frames in certain amount of time with fps_max 100 than fps_max 300, which is what exactly there difference should be. I dono who said that 60+ fps is not noticeable wid human eyes. but indeed it is, visible and feelable. When i say 100 fps, 300 fps and 60 fps, I mean fps_max 100, fps_max 300 and fps_max 60. If however my fps_max is 0 but somehow im getting 100 fps, that wont be the same as fps_max 100. Capping fps causes the lag in frames..
Apparently capping fps to a lower value causes unfair advantage. Vmx asked me to let server kick players with low FPS cap.
If you set fps_max 0 and still you get around 80 fps, maybe it would help caping it on refresh rate.. I think different systems give different output for the fps_max command..
fps_max 54 does enable you to gain more speed in general, but I feel very laggy with 300 fps never mind less than 300.
