Opinion on jb_lego

Okay so I find jb_lego extremely boring to play on, it's the same thing over and over, ct's will die most rounds, when they do have control some ct falls down and gun plants, and finally if there are 5 t's remaining we will do dodgeball, or lose a few more t's whilst getting to breakfloor or four corners, two very bad luck games.

Okay, I'm using "boring", but that can be replaced with other words as "1 round of fun, 20 rounds of misery" or "dull".

Is it me or is jb_lego boring af?

I get it's a popular map although it has a tone of door bugs which need to get fixed, but is there a way delay it from being played constantly?

 

I get that, I did say it was a popular map, likely due to the fact it's a T sided map, but it's a map that doesn't actually play the game mode it's meant to, it literally just ends up being a war map...

 

The thing about the map is there is no games to play that are fun/skill based. They're all luck. Musical chairs, dodgeball, four corners and break floor... No skill. THis map is boring for cts because everyone rebels and as much as it is fun for T when people are trying to command and cts start to lose interest and become thappy and then people start to complain. I find this map very boring now and quit when ever it is on due to it being boring, Just an opinion dont rage at me

 

If CTs are getting stomped I try and ask if any Ts want to help and swap them over. Could ask an admin to do it.

 

There's usually space for T's to help, but nobody wants to join CT

 

Jailbreak is a fun based game mode. If you want skill I don't think jb is the game for you xD

I know its fun but games like four corners can be boring. I liek things like races/climbs. Take skill but can be fun to.

 

you've never seen 7ct's vs 30 t's? pretty common on this map :3

and skill based is way better than luck based, isn't the point to compete for your lr? but then the games are balanced to allow less skilled players to still have a chance, like deathrun.

I agree that the map is hard for CTs to command on and is rather tight, but it's one of the most popular JB maps and I doubt that it will get removed.

 

The harder it is, the funnier it gets ;3

 

Get a 8-10 man CT team and tell them to go in position. That way you'll win rounds, even with mees or meez idk. (That is if no CT fucks up.)

 

Tbh I think this map is more fun to play as ct because you actually have to stop the mass rebellion and try to kill them all before they kill your team. It's better than watching a commander do a successful round where no action takes place...

 

For the Ts yeah

 

IMO, too many commanders want to try and win as ct by being pure trigger happy on this map which kind of defeats the objective of what this map was intended to do. The idea of jail break is to have fun, not just to win as ct

 

First part sounds like the Clan/Deathmatch server.

I described how you can stop people rebel. It's up to the commander to play the games.

Basicaly, if CT side managed to control a few rounds, T's will slowly stop rebelling because they are too afraid to get killed and sit in spec for a while.

 

Well if you play ct on this map as much as I do, you would probably enjoy having to hunt down the rebels in all of the vents and secret spots on the map, I really like it, only thing I would add to this map is better games that aren't just luck games like the 4corners or the breakfloor

 

I think 'luck' games are better because that way everyone stands a fair chance at getting !lr.

 

I'm currently too intoxicated to begin a luck game flame war but all I can say is that they're complete shite

 

Well if people want to play skill games, ]HeLL[ offers enough servers, e.g surf, bhop. That will help making those servers populated.
