    Hello all,

    I have a problem with my resolution somehow and I'm unsure of what it is. My old PC ran on the same monitor/TV at 1920x1080 resolution via DVI with no problems. My new PC that I am using now is running straight HDMI, integrated graphics and at 1920x1080 resolution BUT the edges of the screen are running of the edge of the TV for some reason and the colours on the screen don't exactly look HD.

    Screenshots below as you can see the corners of it such as the Windows Start button/ date and time etc. are all hanging off the edge of the screen. Anyone have any solutions?

    On the monitor, access the menu and look for an "auto adjust" option.

    @Nomy I found an aspect ratio option in the TV menu with auto, 4:3, 16:9, and zoom but that's all its currently on 16:9 and auto doesn't change anything.

    On the second screenie you provided there's an option called scaling, what's that set as?

    You may need to play around with that.

    I had the same problem when I got this computer, it was the problem that @Loui5D mentioned with scaling.

    As above you need to redo your sizing for screen, took me a while to find it when i had same issue.

    If Nvidia go to control panel,
    then look at this setting here:
    http://gyazo.com/24cf844bada8f4918570905a7150e0ec

    Click re-size and screen will go gray and you will be able to change the resolution / scaling manually to suit your screen.

    Hey,

    Found a solution I think, it was the scaling, if I customize this and set it to 73 and 73 as you can see on the screenshot on the right the pictures fits fine but is HD affected at all as the picture looks a little shit still?

    @JayJay @Loui5D @Nomy

    Any ideas?

    You need to maintain aspect ratio or it will look shit.

    Nearly all monitors have option to manually change the position.

    Here is how it looks on a Samsung monitor:
