Let's see how the new version will go. Replaced jb_friendship_v1_fixh4_1 with V3 version.

Added:
- Lights in cell
- Replaced the open area in cells with a vent, which you have to knife now. (Due too many complains about it)
- A new ramp on cell area.
- Added 1 new secret. (If you wanna know what secret, play the map and find out yourself)!

Any issues, please let us know. Reminder, we won't remove the v3 version, let's see how it will go now with these new added stuff. If we have too many complains we will go back to the v3.

New map, it has some really good games such as: cannon game, volleyball, disco with colours, soccer. Map looks really nice in 1 view, curious?

ba_jail_mn_maximum_v5 Am not sure if this map crashes peoples games but me and a few other people crashed.

 

I really appreciate the effort to fix jb_parabellum_xg_v1-1_fix (https://gamebanana.com/maps/172817), but in my experience it still needs some more patches.

- Armoury can be opened by ALL from the outside, making it incredibly easy for T's to just disappear up the stairs and instantly acquire guns, perhaps a button could be made for this to be CT only? Or made so it only opens when a CT walks up to it?
- The vent is very OP, doesn't take that many knives and goes straight to armoury, so by the time CT's have got to cell area theres already one or two in armoury.
- The vent combined with a USP in cells makes the map incredibly difficult to command. I'm thinking maybe remove the USP, or make the vent harder to knife/direct the Ts to a different area on the map. I think even the strongest wardens struggle with this map.

I know it isn't a popular map apart from a few older regulars liking it, so understandable if it isn't at the top of any map makers list, but if anyones got time to provide another fix it could be made into a great map!

 

I'm aware of the vent that it has to be made a little harder and some other things too. Thanks for your opinion about the map George, we'll take a look into this.

Updates:
- Volleyball is fixed (sometimes it spawned 2 balls instead of 1)
- Removed some platforms in the battle arena (due noobs got stuck in corners with the speed platforms)
- There is no more fall damage with the cannons.
- Made the contest image from Amethyst brighter, now you can see it much better from a distance.
- Added the command sv_turbophysics, for the train/cart. CTs can now use it to transport Ts with it, if they want to. No one will get bugged out of it now.

Can anyone remember why jb_pyramid_final got removed? (https://gamebanana.com/maps/172745)

From what I can remember it was quite a funny map, maybe it was something to do with the lift? Or the ramps going down to the games were too easy for bhoppers?

Just thinking it might be fun to try it again.

 

I recenly thought about that pyramid map and was wondering why it was removed. I remember that map was loads of fun, glad you brought it up @GeorgeLAD

- jb_arctic_jail // Fixed guns spawning with no ammo + added more guns, changed the position of the vent outside (pool previously), adjusted armory door, it only opens from inside now instead of both sides. CTs can now also participate in hit the target game (useful for custom LR). Added an effect for the secret.

Fronexe and I will take a look into this, not promising anything tho. The map had some bugs and exploits, they never got fixed. But we can try. I will give updates when I have them.

- Broken physics, i.e. pistols fall through map making gun toss/hot potato impossible.
- Deathrun's glitchy so it throws you into the first trap when starting.
- Some walls are buggy and can clip through.
- Dumb power cuts makes it easy for Ts to run off.
- Gun near cell ramp, vent is straight to armoury...enough said I think.

First one should deffo get removed imo, second 2 is up to opinion of others, also can anyone tell me what jb_last_encounter_fix is, can't find it anywhere.

 

Theres a map named jb_last_encounter_fix on the maplist, but I can't find it on gamebanana or online, was wondering if someone knew where to find it, because if it's a terrible map it might need to be removed too.

CT area's are added due too many complains that CTs couldn't see who won, or what was happpening in-game. This is now possible.
