Server Restart option

Hello,

I'm suggestion that PA's would get an option to restart a server.

Because servers like MG do need some restarts all the time because of the physics going bad
Like: props going too fast or too slow or unable to play a minigame simply because of the physics fucks it up.
There is not always an Hell or Hell-F admin online that can do that.
And something this small you wouldn't need to bother an Hell admin with it

I don't know if the props are going crazy too in other server but in MG it happens quite.

I know most people think that but I have played a long time on MG so I do know when the props are out of their normal behavior.
You can maybe only give it to specific PA's ?
Or like increase the punishment for abuse
e.g abuse the restart = removal of PA with no refund + ban?

 

how do you differentiate abuse from accidental?

 

How do the physics get messed up in the first place? Do certain maps change server settings or something? Cause if that's the case, maybe allowing admins to restore the server to a default config is an option. Then afterwards you just need to restart the round for it to work.

If it's just gravity being messed up reloading/changing the map is all that needs to be done.

Well I wouldn't know any other reason why you would restart a server besides when the physics are fucked.

and I don't see how u can accidently restart a server because if there was an option you would need to press your admin menu and then a certain amount of numbers.

So I think you can see the diffrence very clearly if it's for abuse or fun or for the right thing.

 

Jb doesn't need a restart that often, but it would come in handy *hint*:rlol:

 

As far as I know, everytime we play airship or incarceration map, a server restart is needed. Dont know if there are other maps that fuck up server settings (jailbreak)

 

Airship is just a laggy shit map tbh

 

A server restart has been required on dr a few times, but when no members have been on for me to contact it would be a good idea to have the server restart option, but for admins with experience and who knows why and in which situations they can use it...

 

Airship only laggs once/twice between 9;00 - 8;30, after that the map really is fun to play on

 

Ther are some maps in jb who messed up grav n the next map cant remeber what map it was :|

But for servers like SK or clan or anyother server were there wouldn't need an option for restart is just a waste no?
And I do have a feeling that some PA's might abuse it though

 

Then don't give it to inexperienced payadmins, only to admins that deserve it or are experienced....
