Minigame is starting to get a bit boring now :/ it could do with some new maps. mg_lb_holidayclub_fix is really problematic as ppl teamkill at the start where the turtles are the others are good but the lego course is easy tho if that is any problem
Years ago, when I played these maps I played them on a 5acc server so they were a lot more challenging and took longer to complete. But now that I've tried playing them on 10acc I found mg_lego_course_titi_1 way too easy and way too short, I had barely any fun playing it and I was pretty bored after having completed it once. Same was with mg_lb_holidayclub_fix. However I did like mg_dust_course_2 it was a bit challenging and fun to play but it might just be too easy with 10acc. I also found this obstacle bit repetitive and boring http://i.imgur.com/p5CnG5h.jpg. And as for mg_dr_minis_course_v5 and mg_kirbys_course_v2 I really enjoyed them because I didn't find anything repetitive or too boring and they were fun to play. They would be even more fun to play on the server and to compete for a wr with your friends. Hope to see atleast one of the two maps on the server preferably dr minis but its up to you
The map only has 17 spawns, not enough for a fairly full server... 17 seems a bit of a weird number tbh
I must say, the slippery course idea in crash bandicoot is a freaking revolutionary idea??? Let me set the scene. Imagine a precarious ice map with multiple speedjump drops (build up enough speed to reach platform drops). Add the challenge of navigating fiendish mazeish turns to allow the maintenance of velocity. Throw in the added rhythmic beauty of traps such as the "hache sans fin piège mortel" from escapeprison and you've got a mental quatumtisitc inside-outside ballistic big stonkin pile of poo poo map. It would be the easiest thing ever to design, plus the simplicity would be what makes it fun, also serves as a nice ice strafe training map as noobs do have a hard time learning to strafe ice-wise (just think dc course). It doesnt have to be long, think kegs (5-6 things) i envisage wallless ice platforms in a endlessness blackly voidlike space or something (post-postmodernist nihilistic vibes to some rhythms) oh man, the strafing, the minigames, the nonchalance - sincerly - the original mg hype man steven seagal
Added mg_NxR_course Very nice course map with only 1 moving platform at the start which makes 95% of this map skill-based which is excellent. Relatively short but great replayability since everyone's gonna try to get 1st. Yes it has a timer .

Added mg_nx-neox_course_2_remake. @Steezy I don't know, hesitant of replacing server favorites for other versions. @JAL $ I don't think the server needs simple course maps at the moment, plus nwave has been on the server before. jump_for_gun has an interesting concept but nobody wants to wait 130 seconds for some advanced players to finish the jump rope at the start every round.
Added mg_delusion_alpha. Abstract obstacle course map with a timer. Filled with secrets as well. Warning: this map is very frustrating when racing for a time lol. Very, very frustrating.
So easy to mess up on it, wait until the wr starts getting shorter and shorter. That's when you'll all rage.
Basically Lemme tag all the mandem who I think could do this: @Steezy @Wazblaz @Raphi @T95 I wanted this CS:GO map in CS:S as it's actually the best map I've ever played on a CS:GO server: MG_RACE_LONG_ROAD_EXTENDED. http://gamebanana.com/maps/169354 I do know that there are 2 versions, there's this one and one called MG_RACE_LONG_ROAD_FIX From What I know this is a simple task of porting this CS:GO map to CS:S and I have seen this done with that ML CASTLE jb map being ported from Tf2 to CS:S. It's actually a really good map. It's a slide race map and you need to try and complete it, when you crash/fail you will be teleported to a battle arena area where you will battle the other team. The longer you go for=better gun you get. This map would be a hit on the MG server so I want the best mappers to port this over!
