    Hey guys Happy new year.

    Ryzen 7 5800X

ASUS ROG Strix B550-E Gaming Motherboard

MSI MAG CoreLiquid 360R Liquid Cooler 3 Fan ARGB

Crucial Ballistix Gaming Memory, 2x8GB (16GB

Be Quiet Pure Power 11 FM 750W, BN319

DEEP COOL CF120 Plus, 3 x 120mm Addressable RGB Fans

Seagate FireCuda 530 500GB SSD Internal Solid State Drive

    That's a nice build, what I would add/change is:
Get a larger ssd (1tb), or an extra m.2(1tb). Think that would be more future proof, games are taking more and more space each year.

If you're only going to game on it then 16gb RAM is probably enough, for video editing or 3d rendering I recommend 32gb. I saw the mobo supports 4 sticks, so in future you can always update with 2 extra 8gb's.

    What 3080 are you getting?

    Thank you bro.

it's the Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 is it good. Don't really know the difference as the MSI and ASUS is expensive so I thought it's because of the famous company names.

it doesn't really matters who manufactured the GPU, all the manufacturer's get their graphics card from the same place either NVIDIA OR AMD, manufacturer's then apply different tweak's to the card such as adding more VRAM, installing better cooling system for the card...ect all of those can give from a 1% to 2% increase in performance (not too crazy if you ask me), so if you are wondering which brand to choose, feel free to get any brand you like because they are all the same.

While it's mostly true what you're saying but you should pay attention to different versions of graphics cards (rev ver), if there is a new rev available it's preferable to get that one. Different brands also have different amount of cooling/noise etc. Brands also have special versions of GPUs (for example gigabyte OC 3080), which just have a bit more performance then the normal ones). Also some brand designs make the length of GPUs longer, I would make sure it fits in your case, I had to cut out part of my case to make my 3080 fit :giggle:.

So all in all I wouldn't just pick one, look at specs / cooling + comparison videos online.

You need to be looking at the length. My 3080' length was 320mm and the max GPU length from my case was 315mm. So as long as it's even (for example 320-320) it should be fine I think.

Edit: nevermind I figured out you are talking in inches :giggle:, so as long as case specification of "max GPU length" is same or greater then the GPU length itself it should be fine.
