    Zombie suggestions: Increase the knockback of the heavy zombie class or remove it because it is unbalanced as it has no knockback and can easily spam jump in a cramped area and kill humans.
    also the model of the heavy zombie should be replaced by something else because it is too big and hard to shoot on his head

    Decrease knockback of jumper zombie and other zombies because when you headshot them with any weapons they will fly in the sky and can kill the humans if they are on a higher building or a boosted place

    Server suggestions: Add noblock plugin so players can type !noblock or !nb in chat to temporarily disable the player collisions between near players (based on team)

    Enable !zmarket and let players buy weapons by typing in chat (!gun !p90 !tmp !he)

    Change the magazine ammo to more than 10000+ so humans don't run out of ammo after constantly shooting zombies (not the same as infinite ammo, i'm talking about reserved ammo)

    Remove fall damage for humans

    Add tripmines for humans to place in spots by typing !tripmine which will stun zombies and set them on fire for a couple of seconds (can place 3 max, tripmines cannot be destroyed by other humans only you if you shoot it or zombies)

    The heavy zombie model indeed does not fit the hitbox (most importantly the head), to fix this we would need to find a replacement model for this. (Or fix the hitbox model, I can try look into this.)
    The model you posted doesn't fit the other zombie models we have.

    We could maybe test a small decrease of zombie knockback for a week. After that week we would see if it improved or worsended gameplay, and based on that tweak it further or change it back to what it was if necessary. I'm not sure what @Boy thinks of this.

    Maybe the noblock plugin would be nice, but I think it would break physics when near props etc? Though, for sure it would be nice to have noblock in the first ~15 seconds of a round as humans, so players can freely move towards their desired location.

    Yes, I really like this idea, for the first ~30 seconds of a round this would be nice.

    Yes, I agree, humans shouldn't get stuck because their reserve ammo is depleted. This would need to be fixed.

    I do not see why we would change this, it makes it a bit 'harder' for humans to get on higher, harder to reach places. High risk means high reward right?

    I've never seen this, to me it seems like a wierd addition to the zombie gamemode.

    It's an old CS 1.6 thing, it was very useful against zombies in small area's, back in the day, see it as the !zmarket thing where you can buy some specific block to 'cover' yourself.

    I believe you mean lasermines similar to this ones right, @renko?

    yes like that but it doesn't kill the zombies, only stun and put them on fire for couple seconds.

    The booster is fixed and there is more music on the secret tower with numbers on boxes aswell

    This is an interesting map because in this one you're just suppose to run from the zombies around the map instead of camping

    The one currently in the server is visually way different than the original one and this one is better in my opinion, you could add them both or replace it with the current one

    I disagree, i used to play this map in a different zombie server and there is couple of different buildings/hiding spots in the map

    If we want the server to be alive and active there should be as many good maps as possible in the server because currently in my opinion there is like only 5 good maps and we should not focus on how small it is or if it has "bad texture" as long as we enjoy them and have fun i see no problem with them. There is also secrets in these maps where there is good spots maybe you missed them? Also i have added a few different maps in the post since the original post you should take a look at them too.

    It doesn't have any effects on props, and the plugin should be active at all times because there are a lot of incidents where humans are stuck in tight spots or when zombies are trying to get to humans in a small place and all of them get stuck in each other, but it only removes collision when a player near you types !noblock and for 5-10 seconds with a delay for next !noblock depending on what you configure in the settings, This however does not mean that if there are humans on top of each other a zombie near them can activate noblock and make them fall, It should only work near players of the same team.

    Again this should be on at all times if someone wants to buy a new weapon or a grenade, humans should also earn money by shooting the zombies and buy the weapons from that money if they are out of money.

    Because i've never seen a ZM server with fall damage enabled for humans, there are instances where humans are on a higher building and sometimes zombies reach them and they have to jump off most of the time but you can't here because of fall damage that is why it should be disabled.

    I don't see how this can be so interesting if its only to freeze/set zombies on fire for 3 seconds to be honest..

    A command such as !zstuck that allows the player to have no-block for 5 seconds to get out of a situation could help.

    Ive not been on a ZM server with no fall damage for humans, but that's not the point, we aren't trying to copy other servers here. I think it makes the server very nooby because we will only see failed humans jumping away to escape and giving humans unlimited tries to get to hard to get places. I think we would leave fall damage as it is.

    Regarding knock back, we could look into testing out lesser knock back as Brandon suggested as well as a more suitable Heavy skin, but just as the class is suppose to be a "Heavy", my guess would be all heavy skins having a hard to find hit boxes.

    It can be really useful if you are reloading and a zombie is coming or if you aren't watching a spot

    Also the knockback of heavy class should be increased, because when you shoot him he only stops and goes back a little bit and in tight spots you can just spam jump and not get any knockback what so ever.

    Again, we need to look at the overall balance on the server. Your suggestions seems to be for a noob friendly server to overpower humans. It is indeed supposed to be hard to shoot back heavy class. But then I have shot heavy's head many times which in turn made them fly all the way back (it wasnt an awp). Now if you cant find the heavy's head - that is a different matter. We wont just change settings according to how one player feels they are easily compromised as human. But yea I think we have picked up the points we needed, unless ofcouse you have anything else to suggest.

    These are one of my favourite maps in ZM, there are plenty of good spots for humans and some secrets so i hope you add these

    These are also one of my favourite maps with good spots and secrets, you can either replace them or just add them along side the other version like there is already 2 krusty krabs on the server (zm_krusty_krab_a2 and zm_krusty_krab_a3)
    This can either be replaced by the version on the server because it looks better in my opinion or the old one can be readded in nominations.
    Really fun map, it is different from your usual ZM maps where you just find spots and camp, in this one you can either camp inside houses or on top of them or you can run around the map and try to not get killed by the zombies, It's a different experience.

    Remove the limit of !ztele uses, or increase it. It's not really common, but there were times when i got stuck / lost somewhere in a map multiple times and couldn't do anything because of the 3x limit of !ztele

    Mutated zombie seems useless, maybe you should add something special to it like getting smaller hitbox.


    I am happy that the server is getting populated and brandon is doing an amazing job to revive it, by adding this small details into the server i do believe you will have a consistent playerbase

    I agree with @Boy on the knockback on the heavy zombie. The only reason people would choose it because its tanky, which in my opinion is tanky in HP but also in knockback. Maybe it could be increased a little, but not too much, since there would be no reason to choose that class if knockback would be too high. Now its good for stacking and getting to places where you need to stack. The knockback on normal zombies should be tested. I see people flying sometimes, which wasn't really a problem for me. But it could be a bit too overpowered for both humans and zombies.

    I am not too sure about the mines, seems like it would be for "lazy people" that only focus 1 way when there is 2 ways of entry.

    I should say keep the fall damage for the same reason as mentioned. Dont make it too noob friendly and if the zombies reach you, you basically had either a bad spot or didn't held them back well enough. If you can drop down from anywhere and run away, would be too noob friendly imo.

    We also need to look for a different heavy class model which looks good amongst other zombies and isn't an odd one out. I still think it needs to be changed though.

    !ztele should indeed be increased, even if its only a few occasions. Maybe try 5. Unlimited could be abused in my opinion, having 5 !ztele's is a bit more. Makes zombies not stuck for a long period, but also makes zombies think about their gameplay and not to get stuck over and over again.

    Having noblock for the first 10 seconds is a bit too overkill for me at the start of the rounds. Maybe people could get stuck in each other after those 10 seconds. I haven't really noticed this in close-cornered maps, but I didn't really have a lot of problems with bumping into people from the start, could be me though. Also, having a noblock command during the rounds basically take away the whole point of the block system in HeLL zm. Work your way around people instead of simply typing noblock and going your way easily. I think it adds to the fun working together with people.

    Also, the ammo needs to be increased indeed. 800 bullets isn't really enough to hold off a lot of zombies for over 3 minutes. You'll run out in no time.

    Ah yes, the booster is indeed there + cannon can't be blocked anymore. Desperados can be replaced by a1_ifix version. (Now green-lit)

    Greenlit, while I do look the original look more, it actually has more spots underground. zm_base_winter_beta3a

    It wouldn't work on our server, and to be fair, if you want to 'run' from zombies there is a zombie-escape mode for that. I do not think this map is any good for our server.

    Well it's from the original creator of atix_helicopter, it is supposed to be an updated version. I just tried test-played it 3 different rounds on the server and the server did not crash. We'll monitor this map, if it crashes we will remove (or replace) it.

    After looking a second time this map has indeed more camping spots then I originally saw, we can try this one on the server. Green-lit this one, zm_infected_village_b2.

    I'll have a look at the maps you edited afterwards/posted extra.


    Go in the 'basement'. Shoot a few doors, and then walk backwards from a door. You'll notice you all the props disappear there, I thought players would also dissapear there. Though I just tested this on a live-server and props dissapear but players don't. Since it only concerns props this map can be added since it's a very nice map. zm_dust_v3_02_freedback green-lit.

    zm_foxtrain_infection_b1, it has 2 big error models in the centre of the map.

    This is because the server has disabled the default zombie classes from downloading, the models are there in the fastdl but textures are missing, These need to be added in fastdl and enabled for download and it should be fixed i don't have this error because i already have the models and texture.

    Nice work Brandon, i'm glad you added those maps and there are only a few left now so i hope you take a look at them again because they are really good and have good spots and secrets too
    There are a couple houses, a cannon in the corner of the map which can be controlled by anyone to kill anyone nearby and 1 secret in this map so it depends if you want to camp or just run around the map dodging zombies, really fun imo (zm_siberia_v2)

    zm_atix_panic_b3t (looks better than atix panic b4 in my opinion, can add this or readd the one already in server in nominations)

    zm_forgotten_town_ri (updated version of zm_forgotten_town)

    zm_hook_b3_fp (the one currently on the server zm_hoook_v5 looks really ugly and doesn't even have as many spots as the original one and even some secrets removed)

    zm_lila_metal (it's a bit different than other lila maps with a lot of different secrets)

    Fixed the hitboxes to match the model. Should now work as the model was intended.

    If we were gonna put this on the server we would also have to look at heavy HP.
    Aswell as other classes that might need tweaking.

    Zombie classes we have:
    Classic zombie starts with 8000HP. (Perk: none)
    Mutated zombie starts with 8000HP. (Perk: none?)
    Jumper zombie currently starts with 7000 HP. (Perk: Jumps higher)
    Heavy zombie currently starts with 10000 HP. (Perks: Very low knockback, low gravity)
    Sprinter zombie currently starts with 7000HP. (Perk: Has more speed)
    Regenerative zombie starts with 6000 HP (Perk:Gets 500HP every so 24 or so seconds?)

    So, the most popular zombies classes are heavy and jumper. For this hitbox change to work better we would need to increase knockback a bit for the heavy, but also increase it's HP, since it's a heavy it makes sense for him to have more HP then the other zombies classes. I would suggest changing the Heavy HP to 13000.

    The jumper would have his knockback reduced by a bit, so he can't fly 10 miles when shot once in the head.

    Generally the other classes are less liked. I would rate them in the following order:
    Jumper
    Heavy
    Sprinter
    Regenerative
    Classic
    Mutated


    The Classic and mutated zombie class are kind of useless at the moment, maybe we can look into them and see what can be done to make them different but still useful.

    The Regenerative zombie class is also not very popular, the amount of time it takes before HP get's regenerated is very high. I would suggest lowering that way down, e.g. making it like 100HP per 2 seconds? (Untill the max HP has been reached, 7000.) I'm not really sure though about this zombie class.

    The Sprinter is okay-ish but he has a really big head and is easy to shoot. To make him more viable we could maybe reduce knock-back a bit on this class, the same way we do it for the jumper.

    @Boy what do you think of these changes?

    @Brandon Couldn't you make the mutated version so the zombie would be smaller? That would be good in some cases where you could use the class to fit in some places.

    For the mutated zombie how about giving him a brief invisibility ability with a cool down that can be activated with R or any other button, and for the normal zombie how about allowing him to be the jack of all trades by having tiny bits of other classes specialties like smaller health speed and regeneration increase.

    I remeber that the mother zombie had the ability to spit acid using E key it was limited to 3 uses and could be a used to get to the most packed bunkers xD but i think that will not work here or will it.
