So hello guys, long time no see! I hope you all are healthy and vaccinated! Got mine just last friday (finally!), hopefully the pandemic will be handable after summer. So as you can see, I'm looking for a new laptop. My current one aint charching anymore (already sent for inspection); besides: the old one (Acer aspire 5 2018) was already falling apart (plastic covering connections were broken and needed to fix it temporarily with tape). What I need? A laptop for writing papers and Internet. It should have - as much SSD (+HDD) and RAM possible - covering should be robust - long battery life (at least 5 hours) - Costs: 1.000-1.300/1.500 It shouldnt be that big by size, just a handy laptop (smaller than my older one, see above). My thought would be a razer one (my brother had one), but its still quite expensive. An alternative would be nice/Under 1.000 would be nice. If you know some trustworthy websites with discounts, pls let me know!
Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 14ARE05 (82A200ABMH), got good reviews it's around 850 euro here, not sure what the price is in your country. This laptop should fit all your specs, just a note that its not really fit for gaming, but that was not one of your requirements that is why I think this would be a good pick for you. Nice! Be sure to look at the website where you buy your laptop, since they are different versions of laptops with different disk space, I would advise to go for the minimum 500gb SSD, but would preferable a 1tb SSD.
