After a short investigation we realised that this guy is even Ruskie himself or another former JB player, judging from the knowledge he has about other players (Pure, Trustme...). His account received a vac ban 232 days ago: supposedly because of the same guy that hacked him. Even if this is actually Ruskie or somebody else using his account, be careful and dont end up being scammed if he contacts you.
This guy did this to @foetus years ago...seems like he hasn't changed his ways. I think it's actually him trying to scrounge money again.
All he wants is a copy of css. I dont mind getting him that. Also, how is asking funds to buy a copy of css a scam? Didnt look like he wanted your credit card details. Or am I missing something? :S
He asks for money off quite a few people, not just CS:S, and he asked for CS:S a long time ago on the same account, think he's just trying to get people to send him a bit of money here and there to get whatever on steam. Not a scam I don't think, just someone asking around for money donations, bit tacky if anything.
Vac bans on CSGO don't transfer over to CSS? Doesn't directly state what he was vac banned on but I'm assuming it was CSGO as he is talking about skins
Might be a VACban on TF2, since they use the same engine. Atleast I'm not sure but it could be as they transfer the VACban, I don't know what other game it could be.
Can confirm this guy has asked me for money in the past in the form of Steam gift cards. This was a while ago now, looks like he's back to his old tricks again!
Add me to the list. He just asked me for steam gift card for his little brother's birthday. I chose to block him and not send him anything as by the looks of it he is a healthy young male who can work for his money but chooses to beg for it instead. Coming from Romania, I'm not a fan of begging )
i used to have this guy on my friends list i swear. seems like he removed me now though.. looking at this thread it's probably for the best.
