Weapons pack :)

I've put together a pretty sick weapons pack for CS:S but I'm having problems with it. The pack contains changes only to Hands, Knive, Pistols, Shotguns, SMG's, Rifles, Snipers and the M249. No changes made to grenades and CT/T skins.

The problems are as followed:
- Every time map changes my game crashes. At first startup, no problems with joining server.
- When you throw grenades, they look like "!lr" grenades (molotov cocktails) even though I have made no changes to them

If anyone knows what the issue might be, please inform me.
I might actually put it into a WinRAR when it's finished so y'all can enjoy it too.

Ps: The M3 skin is probably one of the sickest skin/animation I've ever seen on a gun and makes me enjoy playing with the M3 alot more than the AWP

 

Does the skins use custom scripts?

 

Half of them are VPK files, other half is the normal material, models, sounds folders. Some of those do have custom scripts. U think that might be the problem?

 

Maybe, Have you unpacked the vpk's? As i used to have this problem.

Yes but you can pack them like a zip. Just need to see if the vpk's have a scripts folder.

Also some world models don't show, but I'm going to remove the world models for the guns so it's the standard world models ingame.

 

Might be the w_ models.

 

I deleted the w_models and that seems to have fixed both of those issues.

1 pistol made the game crash when I fired it in gungame so I'm going to test all the guns and see which ones need fixing or replacing.

I've found a pack that has pretty cool guns in it, I deleted the files that makes it crash on Hell servers and it works now as far as I know.
I might delete and add some other skins to this pack depending on which guns I like or dislike and which ones I can get working on the servers.

I can't upload it to the resources tab because its a dl of 500mb

Why did you include your .dll files? Aren't those supposed to be not edited at all?

 

Its a total conversion of CS:S. All you need to do is modify files to get it to work on Vanilla servers.

I like the USP, AK47, M4A1 skins man, they look so much better. Only thing that I didn't like is, the sounds... I prefer the original ones.

Lost any respect instantly when I saw the video refer to the Deagle as a Night Hawk and a USP to a K&M Tactical...

 

Here is the Redux version, i fixed it so it works on the servers without a problem. It's personally my favorite

Lol its what they're called on the skin website, because it essentially turns that usp skin into the k m tactical one or the deagle into a night hawk 50c, i love the p228 reload on the redux version lol

Btw: I do recommend changing the knife if u are willing to use the Redux version, when it does the idle knife animation it can take up your whole vision and sight, this is not good especially on T side where if u are playing games u sometimes can't see because of it

 

Did another one, this one is more ironed out and no more crashes/missing textures, none of that... just good old skins PS. works on every HeLL server
