Ezmode timer/zones suggestions

I've removed all the glitch zones that respawned you after touching them. Main reason was when you play this map om scroll one of the zones made the map impossible to finish.

Can we go over this map together some time before you decide to remove it?

Yeah, I know it's abit annoying for the players who want to use scroll to beat that map but lately no one was using Scroll Type. So I didn't mind that. If we remove it, players will still able be skip parts again...

So that's why, I added a big glitch zone under the map where players try to skip some part again, which won't be possible anymore to skip them.

If you got time, we can give it a try this weekend together?

Added 3 glitch zones, that stop the timer and give a warning in chat why instead of respawning, to bhop_jx2 already.
Tested them on several style to see if they interrupt gameplay when you play the map via the intended route, haven't encountered any problems so far.

If you know any other spots, let me know so they can be patched too.

Fixed the map bhop_slayer_fixed
There were times recorded with 4 jumps where you just fall down the elevator, open the door and walk in the end zone.
Deleted all the map records before the fix.

I see there is a wr run on bhop_jx2 by Yajitsu with 21.180sec using 24 jumps. Gonna check the replay and see which route was used and add zones accordingly when the ezmode server is empty.

 

This has been fixed, I added a glitch zone because the player was using a boost and skipping 1 part by some island in the air. His timer is also removed.

There's another "skip" right from the ladder where you can jump on the island instead of using the ladder and going up and starting again from the legit bhop platforms. I'm not sure if we can see this as a skip. What do you think @Arya?

See the blue line as a T bhopping to the end, they're using this island instead of the ladder. I understand why, with mswheel and the speed but was just wondering about your opinion.

 

Personaly think this isnt a skip as it is like missing a bhop platform to maintain your speed.

 

It's a small shortcut to maintain speed like @Doctor CPU said. It's not like you skip half the map by taking this alternate route.

Personally wouldn't patch this route with a glitch zone.

This thread is for maps that don't have correct timers or maps that needs to get fixed for skips for example.

You can nominate all maps in our maps section, depending on the server. In this case it's EZ mode bhop so that's here: https://hellclan.co.uk/threads/28814/. However the map bhop_lego3 has already been nominatedd by Arya, so you don't need to do this.

If you find more good maps, please nominate them in the thread.

 

Maybe to clear this thread up we can change the title to 'ezmode timer/zones suggestions' by example.

Ah ye sorry, I think its missing from fastdl since it said map missing when I tried to join

 

Just tested this - its on fastDL and redownloaded fine for me, I would maybe try deleting the two files for this map in your css folder encase one is corrupt or something?

Glitch zone added to stop this skip and timer records updated

 

Removed the 2 glitch zones on bhop_egypt. I don't see why we should not allow to jump around the inside/lower height part.
