Hello a few days ago I downloaded Twitch on my pc and now I can't uninstall it whenever I try this msg shows up, the app is working fine without any problem and it automatically starts up every time I start my pc even though it's not on the startup program list, would really appreciate any help I can get, Thank you.
Hmmm, which windows are you using? Are you using an app to uninstall it or are you using the windows app? The control panel I mean. Maybe there is a process that cannot let you uninstall it, try to delete all related processes with twitch app and then try uninstall it. Maybe if u run ccleaner and you select all options to clean sometimes it fixes corrupt apps that cannot be uninstalled. Try this and let us know how is it going!
I'm using windows 10 and yes I'm trying to uninstall it from the windows app control panel I did stop all the processes going on with twitch and tried the Ccleaner and still didn't work.
i had something similar with 888 poker uninstall the problem was that i deleted the install/uninstall file associated with the program, so i had to install it again , then uninstall might be worth a try
Go and check the directory you installed it in. Default is C:\Users\[username]\AppData\roaming. See if the twitches own uninstall program still remains there. If not it might be worth while reinstalling and using the Uninstalltwitch. Might also be that downloaded one of the "Free" prime games, they might sometimes prevent uninstalling twitch.
Revo Uninstaller might work, though that starts by triggering the app's uninstall.exe and seems there might be a problem with that. If not I think you can force delete a folder using cmd, just find the directories and delete them?
1- Take the hard drive out of the computer. 2- Open it until u see some disks 3- Zoom on the disk using an x128 scope 3- Take an 0.0001^(-2999.9^13)e-100 millimeter picker , and remove the bytes you want. Scientifically it should work. Thank me later.
