!rules not appearing in game

what jan said, typed !rules, then !motd and then again !rules


i think that jan's css is maybe bugged?

 

I checked it and you are right, it shows motd again

 

Now the opposite is happening. Now !motd stops working after typing !rules...

 

!rules is not triggering anything for me now, only !motd is working. I guess @Nomy is working on a fix

Okay so here's what happens for me now. The first one that is typed, whether !motd or !rules or !guide, becomes the only one that appears whenever any one is typed again until disconnect/reconnecting. @Nomy

People in-game are still complaining about not being able to see the rules.

 

!guide is working, however !rules and !motd seems not to be fixed. I suggest maybe collab !rules and !motd to one page?

Type first !rules, then !motd, and !guide. In that order.

Just tested it and here's what happens for me now. Switching between !rules and !motd basically after I've typed !rules it only shows the jbrules.html from thereon and not the motd when I type !motd (although a "Message of the Day" title appears at the top). However, typing !guide always shows the jb guide, and resets the jbrules-only phenomena when it occurs. Though, when I go back to typing !rules or !motd, after typing !rules the same occurs as above and only the jbrules appear afterwards (!guide still resets it).

I think @Jan 's idea is a good one, combining the jbrules and motd server rules into one would mean that new players and otherwise can be referred straight to a complete page of the rules without the confusion of there being two separate commands and pages of server rules to read. It would also negate the above bug experienced if others get that too.

 

Update: so now what happens for me, after typing any ! command, then next one to be typed becomes the only one to appear from thereon, i.e. !guide then !motd, only motd appears whenever any ! command is typed. !guide no longer resets the page. So, I can view two of the ! if I typed one different one after the other. Typing the same one twice sticks it to that one. The yellow server text still changes between each command, i.e. "Message of the Day" "]HeLL[ JB Guide" etc.

The radio is working again. Typing !motd or !rules or !guide stops the radio (I don't know if it did this before).

for @theddarkknight9 he gets this text when he types any of them "You are playing Counter-Strike: Source Visit the official CS web site @www.counter-strike.net". I believe he is going to post a screen of this.

Also I forgot to mention sm_rules stopped working since you said you started working on this.

Update 25/04: just seems to show motd regardless now

Update 27/04: Asked Greenthunder and he said all the commands work fine for him.

Update 02/05: Radio working on the website, I'll check in game - working.

Can switch freely between !rules !motd and !guide without any problems.

 

And !radio works fine as well!. Good work!
