Max velocity on MG

Hey everyone,

So I noticed the other day the max velocity is set to 260 on the HeLL MG server. I was wondering if there was a reason for this? It always throws me off because every other server I play on (MG and otherwise) is set to the standard 250, and it always feels like I'm playing in a weird fast-foward mode when I join mg. Personally I think it would be better at 250 like the other servers. What do you guys think? I'd love to hear some other opinions on this

I don't play MG but iv'e tried the server before and yeah i agree with you.

 

Is that right? Now I feel silly for making this post. Thanks for clearing that up. I never knew that

 

Its the air acceleration that makes you think that,u get more speed from strafing basically

 

Ohh that's a very valid point. That might be why it seems different to me.

Well sorry about this thread guys, I should have done more thorough fact checking before posting

 

Example, whilst running if you spam AD whilst holding W you gain more speed than ust walking normally.
