My mouse currently is a Steelseries Rival and it has developed a issue with the pointer messing up every now and then...
Therefore I require a new mouse in the region of £50-£100 (not wireless)!

Any Recommendations with links would be ideal, thanks :)

Steelseries well known to have skipping issues with them especially when playing CS which reuqires a lot of movement, much better for MOBAs and RPGs with high DPis. I've used the death adder chroma since 2015, always been reliable and comfortable (https://www.razerzone.com/gb-en/Gaming-Mice/Razer-DeathAdder-Chroma/p/RZ01-01210100-R3U1), but have been wanting to try the G403 (https://www.logitechg.com/en-gb/product/g403-prodigy-wired-gaming-mouse) just because i like switching it up, but heard good things about it and looks clean imo.

Yeah its been a pain for some time now. I really like the look of that logitech looks clean and comfortable. However, Razor mice scrollwheels feel very cheap to me (probs just being fussy). Thanks for the suggestions, muchly appreciated!

Ive had SSrival 100 300 700 and sensei and that skipping problem is because of "Steel series engine" messing up. Restarting or updating has solved it. Hasnt happened once with 700

I use the CYBORG R.A.T 3 mouse which has lasted me for several years with absolutely no problems. Cost me around £40 I think at the time and haven’t found a reason to replace it in the past 7/8 years. I’d definitely recommend this one and if you want to spend more there are different options in the series.

I used to have one of these, but the screw came out and it started to fall apart... You've done well to last that time; I guess I'm just a bit harsh with my mouse whilst playing :wondering:

I have also had a few windows of inactivity on my pc of a few months every here and there but in comparison to my keyboard, which I have had not too much shorter in time, my mouse is doing well. There are lots of good mice out there for cheap prices that will last you a long time just need to treat them well.

The G402 is part of the MX518 succession line which is quite the pedigree that includes the G400 and G400s. These mice were considered Great/God Tier in their time.

That said I would still recommend the G502 over it the extra gets you far more features.

Don't waste money on some transformer looking glowy shite, a mouse is only as good as it's sensor and Logitech have proven to be one of if not the best in this regard.

It lets you hold the mouse from low angles without your thumb dragging, it's different but you stop noticing fairly quick.

I suppose.. But then the extras such as weights and more buttons arent useful for me, the only thing I lose out on which I wished was also on G402 is the free spin scroll wheel.

Appreciate all of the advice lads, I think I'm gonna go with the Logitech 502 as I've read some reviews and it seems pretty good in comparison to the other brand rivals. I'll let you know how I get on with it in the near future :)
