    Hello guys,
Is windows defender fine to be the only antivirus on the pc as i play games on steam only
and the only website i visit is facebook , youtube and hell forums ?
i used to think that i don't need any other antivirus until few days ago when i found a virus on my pc
so i'm asking should i get another antivirus and is there any good one for free or should i buy one ?

Windows Defender is not enough protection. Last time, all it detected were windows or office keygens and cracks.

Any free Anti-Virus software will do. Kaspersky is good if you don't mind KGB looking into your stuff... I use NOD32. There is also AVG and Avira, both do free versions.

i use avast, had the premium version of norton that came as a bonus from buying my motherboard but after than ran out i uninstalled it and got the free version of avast and it has worked well so far. scanned pretty much every "suspicious" file that i've downloaded ("research documentaries") and haven't had a single virus unlike what happened with norton (let a hidden injector into my system because the website it was hosted on was a "trusted" website).

    Replied within 5 mins, CSS = 4438 MB, so internet speed = 15 MB/s

Maximum internet speed in Iraq = 7.5 MB/s... Liar

I use the free version of Avira and it works a treat!

Annoying pop ups on start up every now and then trying to get you to use their VPN service, but other than that, nothing wrong with it!

Although it does have a pretty cool name for the VPN service xD

If you have more than 2 brain cells, you might as well use avira. It isn't fool proof.

Dont know what else to say... Stop torrenting milf midget prolapsing fisting porn.

I've often found that free anti virus software is worse then most malware what you really need is degree of common sense and half a brain in your nut.
for everything else the free version of malwarebytes will probably be enough if you run it regularly enough.
