I think 128 kbps is the baseline when it comes to mp3 compression. Ofcourse we all prefer higher bitrates but I think it's kinda overkill in this situation. Many people won't be able to tell the difference. http://www.noiseaddicts.com/2009/03/mp3-sound-quality-test-128-320/
did you just assume my audio compression skills? the real problem comes with .WAV files if you want sounds such as looping music because that is where the file size really starts packing on, but that is what logic entities are for.
I was more commenting on mine because I tried compressing the songs for jb_piraensi but they sounded really bad
experiment with different bitrates and options, if you are using audacity play with the project rate by changing it to your own rates instead of using the drop down options.
I'll tell you what, when my remake of jb_piranesi is at the right stage, I'll ask you to do the songs
