-bump- Haven't personally played the game since it got launched. Is it any different and worth playing now. Please bare in mind I am also an old school player (Gameboy - DS) I believe the reason I stopped playing is because it doesn't actually do the Pokémon series proper justice
Its nothing like traditional pokemon. This game requires you to walk and move about. If that's not you then its not really for you. Even if you are super pokemon fan and old school player etc. They keep adding stuff to it to keep it fresh, it doesn't get boring.
I have actually played the game, the problem I found is that even though the overall concept is different, the theme and overall design of the game is too different to that of the actual regular release games. I guess it will be slightly lacking when a studio that has previously had no form of input into the original game it is bound to be a bit off. I would have appreciated if they put effort into making the game abit more similar to the actual ones.

I still go raiding with friends and family on occasion when new pokemon come out, and the whole game feels much more community and socially driven, something which lacks in most if not all games these days. If you don't like it you don't like it, but it most definitely gives justice to the pokemon series.
