    Whilst looking on the fourms I noticed there was no HungerGames Thread on the Maps section.

    I play HungerGames alot with the others and I noticed alot moaning about lag on the map HG_Forest. We have come to a conclusion that it would be all of the fog that is the main cause. Could this be eddited? Yes I know that we have the new map hg_volcano_5_hell but it seems a shame to not use the old map because of it's lag.

    On another note about hg_volcano_5_hell - I noticed a few crates that are sunk into the floor. I realise this doesnt effect the map in anyway if you think about gameplay but it would be nice to fix it to finalise the map!

    I highly doubt it is the fog. It is the large amount of trees in the map that can be seen from any point in the map that causes fps to drop. It's the way the map is built (very open) that causes the lag. Not much you can do but remove some trees.

    Ah ok. I just assumed it would be to fog but the trees! That makes sence! Its just a shame that alot of peoples computers cant handle it :(

    We don't really need a thread for HG maps because there aren't much.
    There were a few maps from Gmod i found that loaded on CSS so Steezy did some of his magic and edited to add a lot of stuff to make it playable on server.

    I've added br_steezus_alpha2. New dimension to hunger games and it's more similar to PUBG where you are forced together to fight. Hope it works properly. On CSGO the maps use mp_teammates_are_enemies 1 but I couldn't find if it was on CSS so I used the HG method of all Ts.

    tried making something with the same sort of constriction system but with a map more like the culling, unfortunately that is completely lost because of compiling problems (thanks valve)

    Feedback was good from the test.

    1. Buildings/sniper towers
    2. Faster gas zones.
    3. Bulletproof the start area.
    4. Med kits

    Have you got the vmf? I could take a look.
