HLDJ

is there any other programs i can use to play music in CSS because HLDJ seems really hard to setup .

 

the only other alternative WAS HLSS but its been discontinued
and hldj is too easy to setup

 

help me to set up?

for song conversion

choose a folder where you will put all songs. for convert songs you can use some programs, i use Audacity. Change song Hz to 11025 (For games with Source engine). To listen good song i split the song (Left and Right), delete one and set to Mono. At the end convert file to WAV and copy the song in the folder that you choosed in the setup of HLDJ

 

just read the manual you get when you download... its really easy..

 

I am using the old HLSS... if you want I can give you the HLSS programm
But i never used HLDJ so I can't tell what is better...

 

Ye , quality same , but i ment the settings.
Anyway , i just downloaaded it , and I see there are much less key options then in HLSS.
( I am doin Ctrl + F1-F11 , Shift+F1-F11 , Alt+F1-F11 .... and so on)


But the amazing thing i love baut HLDJ , its you can press a button and it will tell the name song ingame ... very usefull...I wish HLSS had it.

 

However on HLDJ website there is the manual with all info to configure and to use it!
