Right, I am defo looking to get a server, not sure when, but I need a guide of how many people would want to play and what you'd like from the server
For example would you rather do Creative - So building things, or Survival.

I need an answer pretty soon so I can figure out how much it would cost, and how I will get the cash to fund it.

Anyway! Please vote in the poll, it will help ALOT.

 

survival is more fun imo bc if you do creative the thinks you want to make are pretty fast done while in surival mode it takes longer to get those items.

Hmm so like have a split area?

 

Hell MC had like a split area, all the hell admins could go in creative while the normal players were in survival.

But I think it's more fair if everyone has equal rights so imo everyone in survival.

Then if you can handle two worlds... you may get one with creative and the other one survival.

 

True, personally, I like both aspects of the game, but i'd rather play Survival on my own and creative with others, ... Might get a Creative server, 512MB RAM, at £12 for 3 Months.

To add to that, looking at the polls, I might go for survival... xD

I prefer building as since Creative mode was added I became a builder and having pretty grand schemes but not enough hands to finish or I got bored because I know no-one would see it.
(That and the Hell MC server wouldn't allow me to port any of my designs into the game).

Alas I think all my designs have gone or are buried deep in explorer never to see the light again

Just an update, I can order a server anytime I wish, I just need the go ahead for it and what people would want, and the amount of players...

But I dunno its been awhile. As for a server size if your going for one maybe an 8 or 10 nothing big. Besides as for builders I think Spike did alot of the originals/pixel art on the Hell server

 

Yeah, probably max of 8 at the moment if the server could handle that..., but if I get more interested I could increase it. ^^

Think I mentioned this above but.
Depending on size of world, I might block off a certain part of the map for Creative and rest for Survival.

 

So players entering that certain area will get creative mode?

 

Make a ftb ultimate or unleashed server, install Towny mod. Get a good spawn with useful notice boards with rules and such
