Flashlight Spamming

[big]One of the server rules states: No Bunnyhop scripts, hacks, freescrolls, hyperscrolls and macros allowed.

If you spam your flashlight without hyperscrolling and/or a macro is that allowed, there is no specific "flashlight" rule.
I'm not trying to be pedantic but why would flashlight spamming be a ban-able offence?
Personally, I think its a very petty thing and I don't see much reasoning in restricting the flashlight in that fashion, some players find it annoying but that doesn't automatically make it a negative and ban-able.

Maybe a clear up on the rule or the reason for its restriction?

I don't see any rule against it and it's never been a problem unless you are using a hyperscroll to spam the flashlight.

Edit: In deathrun that is, JB is a different cause I guess

 

It is annoying (period)

 

Because when loads of people flash it can be louder than the commander, such as when people knife aswell

Stop coming up with useless complaints, next thing we are going to restrict from terrorists is fucking knifes I bet.

All these unnecessary restrictions make the server less fun.

Leave flashlights alone.

Just because Ct's get annoyed by it, it doesn't mean it has to be fucking restricted.

Grenades annoy Ct's too, flashbangs as well, oh and being a rebel annoys Ct's too. Should we take action and ban anyone who throws a nade or rebels? Come on guys.

Yes, It can be annoying.
But it is part of the fun of JB.
To be honest CT's get pissed off at anything these days.

Spamming the crap out of flashlights and not hearing the commander then getting killed for not hearing over some idiot isn't exactly as I see as "fun"

If you get about 3 people doing it at once it's a possibility..

 

It's way of preventing them to take control. Just like rebelling/throwing/a nade etc etc. Ct's do have a mouth and brain I think and they can command them to stop or let them know that if anyone spams flashlight he'll die.

I hate this babysitting for Ct's. They can speak they can give commands.

 

I guess XD would be kinda funny with about 20 t's that spam flashlight.. it would be worse than the knife spamming sound

I always thought that command is stupid.. I mean if there's a warday and the command doesn't open the cells then that command is used.. People have been slayed for this before for not opening cells I swear..

 

It doesn't really make any difference when you have over 2 terrorists spamming it, a hyper scroll or normal mousewheel.
