yeah it will,
that config is only supposed to be used whilst you are recording demos and spitting them out as movie files, not to be used whilst playing

have you tried putting r_renderoverlayfragment to 1?

lots of fps configs set that cvar to 0,
it increases fps slightly by removing the marks on the ground in maps like dust2 for instance, but it also removes sprays.

try setting it to 1, it might bring your sprays back

lmao i'm so stupid, thanks for help but i fixed it xD took me only 6 months, now i can see sprays again. I had one cfg file that i never saw before, I deleted it and now sprays work xDDDD
