Guys everytime when i try to join a css server with a custom map i get this message : "Missing map maps/(map name.bsp), disconnecting" i've tried all the fixes possible I tried all the console commands such as cl_allowdownload 1 and cl_downloadfilter all and the others... i found some people saying you must delete the map from your maps folder and join again, but i didn't find the missing maps on the maps folder since they are already not downloaded, now i'm stuck with manually downloading the maps from your FASTDL link, do you guys have any solutions to this?
Hi, There are two directories for maps; Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\download\maps and Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Source\cstrike\maps be sure to delete the existing map as it may differ from the version on server.
There are no downloaded maps there, it simply refuses to download maps from servers with custom maps on all source games
