It would be fun indeed, but i would say that the rounds would be extremely easy for the t's since you just bomb the warden and then the round goes into chaos unless some pro ct are there. I remember that aswell from a server and yeah it was fun,but to imbalanced. The "T" playerbase already have very good rebebebelers, so it would be even harder for the cts. I'm more of a 50/50 atm, unless some of you guys make very good statements and facts about this.
If bomb is accepted again I have some expectations about how the server will be.. 1. Very chaotic ^ in the first times. 2. Eventually CT's will learn not to bait, or go near the T's, will keep them in distance and be more careful. 3. T;s will want to rebel even more, which true would make it very difficult for CT's but the people we usually have on the CT team are imo tough enough to handle them. 4. IT WILL BE FUN AS FUCK!
As Nodari said it will teach cts not to bait, but the range and damage must be able to be changed so if overpowered it can be adjusted. If some think it would be to much to have it every round then maybe have it enabled by admins online? Tho I think some bombs you got were duds and you would end up jumping to the cts and no explanation and just look like a Twat XD so I don't think admin activation would be required. I would love to see even just for a trial period
If possible an increased chance of having it backfire and kill yourself would be nice, from what I remember it would only fail roughly one out of 10 times when we had it before.
1. That's more than true. 2. The one with common sense would learn that t's knows how to bhop and should stay at a good distance. Lets write it this way: Cons: Think's a place is good for scouting, get's bombed by a bhopping T. Also since the bomb's radius is acutally quite big it can also take multiple targets. But yeah, they would eventually learn (hopefully ) Pros: Staying at a distance where they have time to acutally Spray-N-Pray the bomber without any fear of risking the round. 3. T's will do that indeed, but rebeling every single round isn't just as fun as it's used to be. I myself like to rebel, but not so many times in a row. The map-makers indeed made funny or bad minigames for the t's to try and complete. Just rebeling would just make the server a deathmatch server tbh. But yeah, good ct's should have a chance unless they drop their guard. 4. Fuck yeah, it's gonna be hilarious, if people don't just blow ct's up every single round. Once in a while it's funny. Since pressing leftclick isn't really a challenge to do Nice text nodari.
The bomb used to install-kill the T no matter what. So the T knew that tiger brains will end up all over the place when they left click XD
Killing yourself just doesn't make sense. Most the times when a T ran out to bomb the Cts and it backfired they died anyway from not listening to commands. If Nomy is thinking about adding it back maybe a small nerf to the radius could help balancing it.
Thinking back about it, the best part of the bomb was the chaos on the CT team that the sound effect would cause
We had it last time and CTs complaint that it was too powerful and ruins the round etc. I am not sure if we should add it back.
Is it not possible to tweek it to change the amount of times it fails, the blast radius and damage? making it a bit fairer? as it was a bit over powered before not gonna lie XD
Imagine if it had a small chance of blowing up nearby Ts . Stack at the bottom of the cell stairs...*boom*.... freeze until active LR.
