As far as im aware thats not a "fake vent" its a wall texture. So no you cant command nor kill for that, or at least thats what i recall from last time this was asked. You can clearly distinguish which vent is the real one by sound, thats just a poor excuse..
I agree with @DaNiNeX on this case. I don't know what has been agreed on. I'm sure it has been asked before. Maybe @Nomy can fill us in if he knows more or for a final word please
When there are few people then yes, but if there are a lot of people and there is a lot of noise going on, how should the warden know which is the real one? By the time he discoveres the t can be already inside of it.
I think that’s part of the challenge. The command ‘knife a vent, real or fake to die’ is a popular command and I think it should be allowed
We could define what a "vent" is first. For example, "a breakable part of the map that leads elsewhere on the map". Or, if you want to include fake vents, just insert "potentially": "a potentially breakable part of the map that leads elsewhere on the map". Logically that includes real and fake vents, because fake vents have the potential to become real on a different map refresh (round), and "real" vents are potentially breakable by Ts in a round.
You can clearly know that cmon, its not like css runs on mono sound, its pretty directional. Besides that.. Spoiler: JB MOTD 14.Only 1 person at a time on Mic. 15.If someone is speaking on mic, please DON'T speak over them. 16.No Spamming. Clearly the issue is not the vent being fake or not.. Doubt that anything people say will change my opinion, the server is already triggerhappy enough as it is. For me thats just another lasy and poor command with the intention of having a free kill to someone that did nothing but knife a wall/floor. Having that said, its not like my opinion has any weight ^^
Knifing fake vents is a good T strat to distract the CTs for a bit longer and to help the other Ts to escape. So i think that command should not be allowed. You can easly distinct a fake vent from a real one too.
