The monitor will be able to refresh the pictures quicker than a 60hz one giving smoother pictures, but you would need a GPU which can run what you want to play at 120fps at the quality you want.

This is not really "game changing". Pun intended.

I rlly like it. It's very smooth, also it did improve my gameplay. When u get a 120hz monitor, you will never switch back to 60 xD. I have a 144hz btw.

Yea its only higher refresh rate and for that you are paying a lot more. Higher refresh rates were preferred on CRT monitors because of the way they worked. But since LCDs doesn't work like CRTs its not important. CRT on lower refresh rates caused eye fatigue and strain but this isn't true anymore for LCD screens where the pixels update when there is an update, it doesn't flicker.

For CSGO however, you will get your screen updated more times If your graphics card is capable of getting 120+ FPS on this game. You wont see much difference for screen updates on games that limit their FPS to 60 or your graphics doesn't get higher FPS. Also for 120 vs 144... by default CSS or CSGO cap fps_max to 300 and 144 isn't a multiple of 60. Also, 120 is easier to hit in most games than 144.
