Hey. I'm very worried though. It will be my first time building. How does this sound: I'm very worried about building it though. It looks so hard and I'm afraid I'll fuck something up
AMD FX-6300 would be a better choice... http://www.ebuyer.com/409191-amd-fx...ium=products&gclid=CLiFvZy2qMACFYXJtAodNl4Acg http://www.ebuyer.com/546762-gigaby...-1-channel-audio-atx-motherboard-ga-970a-ds3p
I need reassurance that it's not hard. I'm a noob and I'm scared I'll bend some pins, electrocute myself or someshit because I'm clumsy
Dont worry you can't bend pins, all conectors have a key, it only goes one way so you can't bend it.....assuming you're not a savage. And you won't build it connected to power, so you can't electrocute yourself... Also maybe get a bigger PSU in case you will add an extra HDD /SSD or GPU later. A 600W should do it. And you forgot about an optical drive
Do I need an Optical Drive? Sorry I'm such a noob with this. The thing is pal I'm just frightened to make it, I fear that I'll snap a pin, or fuck my motherboard up somehow --- Double Post Merged, Aug 23, 2014, Original Post Date: Aug 23, 2014 --- Oh yeah so I did, I had that but I forgot to add it to the basket, my bad!
Also get an anti-static wrist/ankleband so you don't damage with static electricity. They're like 5 pounds or so --- Double Post Merged, Aug 23, 2014, Original Post Date: Aug 23, 2014 --- Also, what is your budget? Btw, if you're really that scared you can ask them to do it. Most charge around 50 euros
Building a pc is as easy as making a lego house. Will be no problem, don't really need an anti-static wrist band if you're careful. I have one but never bothered using it for all 4 of my builds, just gets in the way. Good luck and most importantly have fun. Nothing better than watching something you made actually work
Everyone say's it's easy, but I'm looking at the tutorials and it looks insanely hard --- Double Post Merged, Aug 23, 2014, Original Post Date: Aug 23, 2014 --- Also, just how good is the R9 290, my friend says it's one of the best out there, behind the R9 290x and probably a few others. Will I be able to run battlefield 4 and other top end games on high settings and get a solid 60 fps?
I built my first PC a couple months ago. A lot easier than I thought it would be tbh. The videos look confusing but once you get going its pretty straight forward if you are following a video or the manual.
Of course I was but as long as you are a bit careful and follow a guide I knew I could do it. Just give it a go man the feeling of completing it is worth it.
I think I followed this whole video the first time I did it. After you build one once though you won't need help like this. It's literally just plugging components and cables in, maybe a few screws.
