DJ PARTY

Hey guys

I was thinking why don't we do something like collaboration and all dj's do sets all day long and we all play techno, house, dance... etc

Would be awesome if we do We can do handovers, dual dj, maybe multiple djs go in

So what do you think?

 

I think this has been tried before and it worked well. Need to try and find a day where there are enough DJ's available though.

That's not the point man lol We will play whatever we want, the idea is multiple djs on playing different genres of songs..etc

Hey, sorry if I can't post here but, it would be VERY GREAT (im a player on the server and I think this would be awsome) if the DJs would say things like : Hey guys, it's 16 PM (for example) What i want to say, it's that DJs would communicate to us

 

Andrew, u mean on the party or while any dj normally djing?

When we doing it idk, I need to speak with adey, maybe we can do it this week but I don't have a mic so chance of my participation is really low

He basically want Djs generally when they're on air to tell people what the time is now and then..
If you have an update on the weather that would be cool too aight?

But really. It does get slightly boring when DJs are on the air doing this:
*plays song*
DJ: "next song is"
*plays song*
DJ "next song is"
*plays song*
DJ: "Thats all I had for today. Bye."

Well.. Continue discussing the idea this thread was created for, but you (DJs) can take not of this.. Be more interactive with the community listening.

 

Can be difficult. Some people don't appreciate you just talking down the microphone. They'd prefer music instead. I will talk to people briefly in a song change but never stop playing music and just have a general chat. I'm sure competitions would be fun but of course you have to pay for stuff to do them and I'm broke. I think that is the only way you can get people to listen to you really. I dunno. I might do a Tech News updatey thing at some point

 

Include me, but if i'm working i cant participate until late at night or early afternoon.

 

That was just an example. Who would like the DJs to talk to us? I really would like it It's just an suggetion not a must-do

 

That's just worst example of what a dj does..

Anyway, yeh people don't prefer dj talking they just want music but between each track we read shout outs maybe telling time yeh, major news about community maybe..etc

 

Ok everyone, I talked to Adey and he gave me permissions to manage this event

The date for the event is on Saturday 21st of September 2013 20:00 GMT , we will be doing it for couple of hours and should be fine so every dj participating should prepare at least a list with an hour of songs

I will be taking someone experienced (haven't decided yet) as my assistant because it will be a big thing and he should know better than me

For people who will participate I want you reply here with the following :

Skype name

Steam Name

Hope it will be fun

We will discuss details on skype earlier time on saturday

 

I see no one is interested

If I don't get at least 10 participators by tomorrow night I'm gonna cancel this event :<
