Most of my computer stuff I get from rebeltech.co.za if that will help Should I get almost everything of the same brand? Should I run OS on a SSD? Is there room for SLI at a later stage? Should I get a larger power supply for later or will it be ok? Will I need a better CPU cooler than stock cooler with i5? Anything will help thanks
1. No. Fuck technology. 2. Preferable 3. Recommended 4. Idk, check the dimensions of your case. 5. Depends on what video card you are getting. 800W will be perfect for your system to work imo. 6. Consider getting water cooling. It's more cool nowadays ^___^
1. Maybe you can use your old components. 2. Your opinion, I prefer top quality. 3. Most people do that nowadays because it's faster. 4. I am not sure, as Ici said, check the dimensions. 5. A 600 watt PSU with a good brand and high enough efficiency will work. 6. If you are not going to overclock, use the one which comes with the box.
Get this mobo: R2,728 PRO P8Z77 V ASUS If you are into OC get the deluxe version... forget about thunderbolt... I think nobody will buy thunderbolt... I use Corsair Vengeance RAM 12GB.. it seems cheaper on your end too so might aswell If you get ASUS GTX680-DC2T-2GD5, I'm not sure if you have enough room for SLI... maybe just about... The GV-N680OC-2GD looks cooled with those 3 fans 1) tell us how much you will spend 2) you might end up spending more if you look to get from same brand... making PC its not about having same brand 3) Its up to you, windows will load alot quicker... thats about it. 4) You can 2-way SLI on this mobo. Seems enough room. 5) Try getting 700-800W PSU. 6) Same as Luxray. No OC, use stock cooler.
I have about R15000 budget hopefully so I should be able to afford everything so far Ill try look for another power supply ok no thunderbolt was looking at the pro and dont think im going to OC yet but ill look into it later and if I have extra money ill get a SSD Thanks for the help
I would rather go for the 670 instead of the 680 because its cheaper and can be overclocked to the 680 speed. You can install OS on a 60gb ssd but apart from that you wont be able to fit anything else, and since the prices for the 120gb are cheaper i would go for them. And i would go for the MSI Z77-GD55 because its a good overclocker and a bit cheaper. I would really recommend you to get a H80 or a H100 which can probably reach that CPU to 5ghz with the guide from the internet ^^
The 680 is a very good card. but i've heard it's not a good OC'er i would get a 670 (If i were to go nvidia) because its much cheaper and can be OC'd up to 680 speeds.
