My notebook's fan

    Today I decided to fix my old notebook's fan wich just stopped working one day.
    After one long hour of removing screws, locks and ribbons I finally got hold of the damn fan. When I looked inside I found this sticking between rotor blades:

    To my surprise everything works like a charm now after reassembling everything. :)

    This is one of the major causes of BSOD, overheating and graphics problems on laptops.

    true, everytime for exemple i play battlefield bad company2 my laptop star overheating and shut down by himself... so frustating:roll:
    i even had to replace one of my RAM cuz it it was causing BSOD like every 20minutes

    I clean my video card every 1/2 months and I recommend everyone do it.

    am i the only one whose laptop never over heated :/
    even when compiling android from sources which is a heavy resource task

    Air Conditioning makes huge difference too... Maybe use them in hot countries...

    Mine has also been over heating often lately but im to lazy to take it apart now and often had dust bunnies stuck in my fan which made funny noises

    Well wedging a screwdrive between the blades will definitely cause it to overheat.
