I understand your disappointment and frustration Waleed but there was also a lack of communication from your part. There was numerous people on the server who were asking about the event that you didn't respond to and they therefore left as they weren't sure if the event was going ahead. This was during the time that you were waiting for more players but this wasn't communicated so people were left wondering if the event had already been cancelled and left.

Also, I understand that you wanted there to be a large amount of people there but you have to understand that CSGO JB just isn't a particularly active server. You're stuck in this conundrum where obviously the event needs to be ran at a time when the servers are most populated, but this is also the time when people are genreally playing CS:S JB. Now, I joined the event - having never played CSGO JB before - but there was a lack of communication in regards to the maps being played, whether the event was going on and just generally the gamemode itself just felt a little worse on CSGO.

There are numerous issues with several of the LR's and with just the way that the server itself works with some of the props not doing damage and names of players not appearing that just made it a generally unpleasant playing experience. I would recommend if you wanted to run a JB event, just to run it on the CS:S JB server as that is where you will almost guarantee engagement and the event itself would be able to flourish.

Alternatively, if you still wished to run it on the CSGO Server I think that you need to be more flexible with the amount of engagement you would like, and just run the event from X time to Y time and tally the scores like that. I understand this isn't ideal but it's going to be the best way to do it.

However, I did attend the event and enjoyed myself. I wouldn't play CSGO JB often but I appreciated you trying to gather people onto the server and I am thankful of the effort that you've put in.

Also, just a sidenote, after re-reviewing the rules to gain points, it is heavily skewed in favour of the CT's and may need changing. If you have the T's rush into armory and one CT gets the majority of the kills just spraying them down, they can be +17 points whereas if a T makes it through and kills all the CT's (an incredibly difficult job as it is) they would still only get like 6-7 points. Also, I don't quite understand why a CT gets +2 points for winning LR but the T only gets +1, it doesn't make sense as they're both on an even playing field.

Also, shout out to @Wazblaz for trying his best to keep up engagement whilst on the server.

I thank you for taking the time to reply.

Am sorry for my poor communication I thought saying in chat 3 4 times that I will wait for more before I start is enough I should've joined ct and said it on mic but the ratio was full for the CT side. And didn't want to be annoying talking over warden about the Event.

I understand completely that players don't have good PC's to run the game and as well as they don't like CSGO, and they prefer CSS I wanted at least 20 22 players to join but as you know it was a big failure for me haha. I just wanted to do something a bit different and play it on CSGO.

For the points I hope after the surf event when I post a thread players can say their opinion on how it should be played. I made the ct's earning 2 points for winning in lr is because T's is going to choose the lr that they are best at and I thought if a ct wins it then he should get a well done for it as it wasn't his own lr and own rules.

I saw how the T's rushed in Armory and the Ct killed him all by him self but am sure we wouldn't have that problem in a 30 minutes long map. And if there is an afk CT the Admins will swap him to spec as it's against the rules to be afk as a ct.

But like I said hopefully after the Surf event next week I will post a thread and players will register and choose the perfect time for them.

You were the only PayAdmin in the server if it wasn't for you ratio would be fkd* haha and players will surly leave because of it.

It was fun while it lasted Waleed! It's not easy and I hope you come back with a stronger event :h:.
Just a tip from an ex event hoster. If you want/need staff presence, it is important to have clear communication with one or multiple staff. E.g on Clan War we had Boy, Amoura, Nomy, Conner and Steezy helping out. I would suggest next time you have a "go-to" person and make sure they join or if they can find replacement staff.
Also, don't get hung up on the numbers. 17-20 people on CSGO JB is plenty IMO when we are a heavy CS:S community.
I hope this event doesn't stop you. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger

@Waleed i'm sorry it didn't go to plan, I know the feeling, it's the same when I did the gather on CSGO JB a few weeks ago, lots of people said they'd turn up and they didn't. Hopefully next time you or another person hosts one I can attend, I couldn't yesterday as of family problems, but hey I didn't vote saying I could so it probably wouldn't of made a massive difference. Thanks for hosting the event, consider it a learning experience, next one will be bigger and better!
