    Because counter strike source is only 70p and we have many Gamepunch VPN using trolls, is it possible to continue the Votectban when a freekiller leaves the server?

    Now often it happens (when theres no admin) that some freekiller just leaves before the ban comes through, changes name and do the same shit 10 times over.
    If the votectban comes through when someone leaves, it can save many rounds and prevent from the server dieing cuz of freekillers.

    I have two suggestions;
    • I would like to suggest cutting down the round time. Right now jailbreak has "mp_roundtime 9" aka 9 minutes per round. Cutting down the round time to 7min will make the rounds go faster which will equal to more playable rounds for players.
    • Can we make it so warden can use their laser with any primary, not only the Deagle. I think it would make the life of warden much easier.
      It is hard to keep up with everything around while being a warden. Sometimes the supporting CTs don't even help or kill the rebelling Ts. The meta right now is that if the warden uses their laser, then the rebelling T(s) have a better opportunity to kill a warden than a none laser aka primary weapon out.

      I don't think that will be the case. It is hard to activate the +use key which is by default "E" while moving around, being a warden and shooting rebellers. Unless people change the use key to something easily accessible...

    Even if it was set to 3 minutes, the round wont end early. You can notice that the timer can even reach 00:00 and the round still doesn't end. Forcing it to end early is extremely boring imo. It's like a waste of round.

    Yea that's the point. Anyway deagle is 1shot kill to the head so just aim on head. CT isn't meant to be noob friendly.

    I would also add onto this and suggest every pistol can have the laser. On maps where they give alternatives to the degale I always pick dualies or p250 and not being able to use my laser when commanding Is kinda annoying.

    I understand that the round won't end when the timer hits 00:00. But players are more aware when the timer hits 00:00, thereby ending the round faster.

    I Believe that the Friendly Fire Wardays set by non admins, (some map have the feature to enable Friendly Fire) should be forbidden. As even though most of the time CT's are being told by Wardens that it is stricted to shoot eachother. We still get many cases were CT's kill or shoot eachother by accident or just to piss off.

    Therefore if we had a server rule for not activating Friendly Fire using the game buttons on certain maps just for Friendly Fire Wardays, it would be much Safer for everyone.

    That is my take.

    On the friendly fire part I do not mind, I think it can be fun if no admins are online, but CT's indeed are breaking rules shooting each other etc.

    On the laser part, back in the day there was no laser. You had to command using only sprays, objects in the map or just be really specific. Having the secondary with a laser is better than a primary in my opinion.

    Yes it does make it harder for ct's, but that also makes you think as a warden. Commanding should be challenging and not easy.

    I think adding a laser on primary weapons makes it too easy. Also, if you hold a deagle and a t runs towards you, just run backwards... you are equally as fast when holding a deagle or a knife.

    On the cutting down round timer, most people just ignore the timer and the round does not stop when it reaches 00:00 so changing the timer does not change anything. Seeing 7 minutes or 9 minutes at the start does not really mean a lot for most people.

    I personally think the round timer should be increased as many times the round goes past 0:00 and when i was ct used that timer a lot.

    What if you die in the start of the round, you'll have to wait for over 9 minutes when you increase it and when it reaches 00:00. Would be too long imo..

    If the timer reaches zero, you can see the map timer on the scoreboard at the topright, I use this one from time to time when I need it.

    The Warday is a special day that can be commanded by a warden and no admin command is required.

    It's basically where CT's fight with T's with their guns in a specific area of the map 'till it is extended to the whole map. Means any CT can kill any T, even if they are afk or don't have any intentions to fight or carry any guns

    So a T does not have to be a rebeller to be killed, therefore the lr rule should not applied for wardays

    "Anything a T has done is to be forgiven once starting the first LR"

    as the CT's are not meant to kill rebellers only but everyone from opposite team no matter what.

    But today when a T is initating his first lr in a warday, he can't be killed after his lr untill he rebels (like it matters if he rebels or not?)

    This happened to me last night. During a round I wasn't paying much attention (tabbed out most of JB rounds), tabbed back in, I was one of the last few Ts alive. Suddenly LR menu popped up and i chose throwing knife fight. I won the LR and straight after the LR i get killed by a CT because it was a warday... Confusing and silly imo - It just didnt looked or felt right. I thought I may be the only T who felt that way so I stayed quiet and another regular T then questioned this. Warday or not, LR is LR (last request). Once initiated, you cant kill the T while in LR and if initiated again quick enough, can survive the warday all together. Just because one T is quicker in LR and other T isnt, shouldn't give them disadvantage imo.

    But id let an admin whos has more experience in JailBreak to respond to this.

    i see ur point, but they actually shouldn't have killed u according to the rule, what i think is rule should be changed in a way to not apply for wardays. as it says "forgiven" in rule but the forgiveness doesn't matter cause ct's are supposed to be killing every T they see :/

    i have seen some people thinking same as me so i thought i should talk about this



    On the other hand the rules state that,

    "If you don't know the game or are new, you must join T"

    and we have seen many new players joining CT with or without mic breaking few rules and depending on how big the mistake is they are being swapped, but there are new players that play on CT side not knowing the game that well and when we ask admins for swap they reply with " we will trust the player for another chance"

    but that shouldn't even be the case in the first space.

    "CTs must have a mic, or be a trusted player to play CT"

    The first rule to be a CT player yet there are many players that play ct without mic, and some admins say they "trust" them " for now" in a new player case.

    A trust must be earned by the new player by playing on the T side first, not on the CT side without having enough clue on how to play as a CT player?

    There are many cases we experience where CT's are just blowing rounds up with even small mistakes.

    Until now its up to CTs if they will manage to kill the T after his first lr in a warday,which means they are allowed to.But this should change because it gives the opportunity to kill-hungry CTs unfairly kill that T even tho he doesnt have any intent to rebel and he just wanted to do lr.As boy said,it doesnt feel right.

    I think the whole rule: ''T's can not be killed/will be excused after their first lr'' should be changed. Back in the days you got killed after you've done your first lr, simply because you rebelled. It is the same as the CT baiting rule. If a CT baits and you knife him, you still took the bait so you rebelled and the CT's are allowed to kill you. In my opinion, if you don't want to get killed after you've done your first lr, earn it the fair way and not through rebelling/hiding ways.

    I know it can be seen as weird and people get confused, but a warday is a warday in my opinion and a simple lr does not change that for me. If a CT lines up his shot in order to kill me before I can choose the next lr, fair enough if I rebelled or if a warday was going on. What you can do to prevent this is asking the CT you're in lr with to follow you around a corner or something in order to have more time to pick your next lr.

    Saying CT's are kill-hungry during a warday is completely fine. I hate triggerhappy CT's and scorewhores, but what do you expect on a warday. CT's are meant to hunt all the T's down and kill them, and the T's hunt down the CT's. In special days I do not think kill-hungry is a thing for CT's, unless it is a (zombie)freeday. You are literally meant to kill everyone in FFD's or wardays.

    I still think this is a bad rule till this day.

    i %100 agree with sui on this.

    it is a warday where CT's are meant to kill everyone including AFK's.

    it doesn't matter if u are rebelling or not, it is not a regular day and it's meant to be played out as a "War"Day.

    The Current rule does not allow the CT's to kill anyone after their first lr in warday which kinda ruins the warday. and makes it a regular day instead.

    This question has already been answered. Additionally on a FFD, LR is disabled because of a plugin, WD is similar to FFD, therefore you can assume that if you can be killed when you should have LR in FFD then same can be said for WD. Though if a person LRs in a warday, they would not be slayed. It depends how chill people want to be.

    There are a large portion of players new to the community that come from other CSS JB servers where they command fine. We don't want to alienate those people by swapping them straight away, they may be less inclined to play on our server having to 'sit on T until they gain the admins trust'. If we wanted to enforce this we would look harder into putting a timer on everyone so they must play X amount of hours before being CT, however this is not practical.

    OK this really helped me, cause most of the people tell me to not kill someone after his lr in a warday, and that was illogical to me.

    I'm so sick of when the warden commands the T's to not knife the vent, but one is still knifing it and the other inmate is staying right in front of the door before the cells are open to cause a CT to freekill him.

    We are not allowed to command in cells, but this guy that covers the guy knifing the vent with his body is a rebel in action as well. by helping him opening the vent safely.

    I'm not gonna lie i'm so sick of this.
