Getting this error from time to time ; "Display driver stopped responding and successfully recovered". My driver is up to date but still getting this error, it annoys me because it auto alt tabs me and when I go back in the game, all I have is a black screen and I need to restart the game. Any solutions?
Found this after a quick google "There are a lot of nVidia owners complaining about these drivers. Use an older version to see if it solves your problem. I am still using 332.21 WHQL since they give me better performance than later releases. Don't use GeForce Experience. It causes more problems than its worth. When you install these drivers use Custom Install. Never use Express Install. Check the box for 'Clean Installation' and uncheck all other boxes except for PhysX and Video driver." Basically just install the driver before your current, make sure you do custom install, check clean installation and PhysX and Video Driver, nothing else
