All that including the key puncturing the officers eye and still the officers did not use any brutal force to detain him. If it was in some other places, i think the guy would have got tazered or shot the second the officers feel like they are going to get hurt in anyway.
How it should be! I actually love that UK is known in other countries for having many cops that are actually legit and not inhumane.
Wonder why he wanted to see his license, didn't seem like anything happened prior to that. Also, notice how fast he's able to shoot at him? Unless asking for someone's license at gunpoint is standard procedure now I'd say that he intended to shoot the guy.. ps: tazer anyone?
British police aren't the best, they've done some pretty horrific stuff in the past. We shouldn't let bad behavior go off with "at least they're not American police", or whatever. Brutality is brutality. You don't expect your local police force to drag you out of a wheelchair in a peaceful protest, slam your head against a concrete floor, or tackle you headfirst to the ground while you're walking away with your hands in you pockets. There's loads of examples. here's just a few: Menezes
@Zephine true but every police does bad things so its quite normal for stuff like that to happen even though it shouldn't. Problem is in USA they have a bad reputation and they keep making mistakes unlike British police I still blame USA's gun laws which leads to American police acting more aggressively since most people are allowed to carry a gun and one can easily reach out from his pocket to grab a chocolate bar and get shot by police due to panic and thinking he's got a gun if that makes sense Also american police r more racially prejudice than British i would say
