Tournament/Sign up list.Hello everybody! So you obviously know who i am because i'm so popular (jk) I've always wanted to create a tournament or a have fun day, than just playing JB. Now, i want to share it with you. The game i've wanted to play for a long time with plenty of people is called Hidden. (Hidden is a free mod so don't worry about money) If you don't know what it is, take a look at it. I'll post a video link at the bottom. Me and Tau spoke about hidden how it was such a good game until they stopped updating it etc. But that doesn't mean it's completly dead, it's not a game you play every single day. But it's something we can play in a while. Tau is gonna host a server if we can get enough people to join us. Don't worry about the selection to be hidden. We'll see if we can get an addon that's not based on luck because we all know how unlucky we are because karma. I also want to ask you.. If we do this, do you want a tournament or a just have fun day. Like zombie day's etc. Finally, i've reached my destination. I want to ask you all if you want to participate in this tournament. Would say 50-50. In original HnS, people can't defend themselves. In Hidden, there's many weapons, items etc. This is much better than HnS.
Basically 1 person gets chosen to be the hidden and the others have to try and defend themselves/kill the hidden (who's invisible)
I used to play it years ago, but it there are a few downsides to it... 1. Ghosters in spectator or whilst dead can point out to others where the "hidden" is hiding and what prop they are. 2. the "hidden" appears on the radar once a ct's crosshair points at them. If these options can be disabled then it would be fun
I'll see what I can do to satisfy you all. Tez, you can't see where the hidden are as spec I think. You can only see humans and cameras view. If it's wrong what I say tez. We'll figure it out with tau.
I used to play Hidden to death then i stopped cause of other mods but sure id like to play a bit withya guys
Hidden:Source is a game where there's one player who has the abillity to poune and stab players he can throw props to kill players too. He gets a flash bang and is almost completely invis. You can make noises to scare people to think you are one way but are actually another. You can also cling to walls and poune off them too. Watch a few vids because my synopsis doesn't justify how fun the game actually is. It's a really fun game that I used to play. It was full of aim botters last time I went on it.
really looks fun to do but like nomy said this should be done for fun and not a tournament (im in btw if ur planning on doing this)
What he means by that is that it isn't classed as a tourny but is classed as an event. Tournys are more competitive and usually have knock out stages lol
I only played this once with some of my buddies who play gmod. Fun game, but teamkilling will happen and so will ghosting, better be prepared. I voted tournament but I mean event, prizes (not prices, fking spelling lol) should be handed to winners (something small, whatever u can afford really), and I think that you should do this much like they did the deathrun event, whoever goes hidden is exempt from the competition and is picked either on the spot or beforehand.
Pls don't mind my grammar about tournament/prices. Had no idea what to call it so I wrote came into my mind. It is an event yes, so don't worry. I'll come up with some ways to get points. ( if the event wins) Reminder: reason I called it funday is about no gifts. So you don't have to be 100% trying to win. The event is also gonna be fun just with gifts. Edit: I'll speak with tau about these problems. The gifts, I'll see what I can afford
