Well, here's the question. My G400 broke I emailed logitech support etc. Now I'm unsure what to do. "Dear Brandon, Thank you for your reply. Brandon, would you accept the Logitech G502 as a replacement mouse?" I'm unsure what to do, accept this mouse or ask for a G400-s? Someone got experience with the G502? It looks like a good mouse, also optical..
Its clearly a better mouse, i wouldnt say No. But the shape looks big and to me a lil uncomfy, but the mouse itself, features look brill.
Okay, just went for the G502, will test it out when I get it. If I don't like it I'll just sell it and buy a G400s instead xD
I was considering buying the g502 myself, i currently have the g500, but I was really considering getting the Mad Catz R.A.T 7 instead, because it has the precision aim mode, something that I think should be mandatory on every mouse lol. The advantages of the g502 is that you can customize it to any surface to work optimally on, and it is extremely customizable, also, it doesn't have that tallness that the g500 and the g400s have, so you can get a better grip on it.
Tbf, aim precision and all that bullshit don't really help to improve aim, just need raw input n a steady consistent aim to practice with. Best feature in this mouse is that it adopts any surface. And imo becase the mouse is flat and wide, thats gonna make it harder to control the mouse compared to a thin but tall mouse unless u got a big hand..
ye I got a big hand, that's the only thing I didn't like from G400, that it's pretty small xD Looking forward to my new mousey
Trust me mate you wouldn't say this if you got used to the precision aim mode, being able to change your dpi with a click of a button to lock on a target is really good, you just got used to playing without it so you think differently. Or at least that's my opinion
I think the size is same or maybe even less then the G400, only difference is that the highest point of the mouse is not in the middle of the mouse as the G400 but more in the back of the mouse. Thats why it feels bigger I think.
There is a massive gap between the clicks while the click buttons seem small.. And the side skirt for the thumb seems to make it feel bigger when held?
The massive gap is exactly the same, it just seems bigger because it's not filled up like the G400. I really like the side skirt man, it's really comfortable.. Also better for aiming I think, so you don't drag your thumb across the mousepat with the mouse xd
