How to disable MOTD when joining a server

So me and Nomy were talking the other day about the motd that comes up when you join servers and how annoying it is so I found out how to not take away the actual motd box when connecting but how to stop the server from sending its motd over to you. So basically after you do these steps all you'll get is a black box which will load up quickly.

So this is what you do:

Step 1

Go to your cstrike folder which will usually be
\Steam\SteamApps\youraccname\counter strike source\cstrike

Step 2

Make a new text document there and call it

textwindow_temp.html

Step 3

After you have created the new text document right click it and select properties. In its properties make the file read only and then your done.
